Parents Letter Home Learning 19.03.20

Updated: Mar 31

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following the announcement of school closures at the end of Friday we have organised for the class teachers to set work and answer questions remotely. Each child will be sent home with a pack which they can use containing all of the relevant details. This will be followed by the first contact from the class teacher on Monday when they will set the learning tasks as detailed below.

We have developed a suggested timetable should you wish to use it and will ensure the tasks are clear for the children. If you have any questions about the tasks they can be e-mailed to the class teacher who will endeavour to answer them on the day of setting the next tasks. Please could we ask that the communication is kept to questions around the tasks set only. We will be setting physical activities for the children as well as practical tasks which will help provide variety for them during this time.

Class teachers and school staff are doing their very best during these complex and unknown times so please do bear with us if there are initial teething problems.

If you have not received the tasks by 10am on Monday please contact the class teacher using the e-mail given to you as there may have been an error in the transfer of contact details.

Thank you all so much for your support in these very challenging and worrying times. We hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you when school re-opens.

Best wishes

Paul Girardot
