Parents Letter 15.05.20

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are very keen to get everyone back to school just as soon as we can, so we listened with great interest to the Prime Minister’s broadcast on Sunday evening, and received more detailed guidance on Monday evening from the government about the phased re-opening of schools from the 1st June. We have a lot of issues to solve in order to make sure that we can welcome pupils back whilst ensuring their safety. We are studying the guidance that was issued on Monday and will be in touch by the middle of next week at the latest to share our intentions with you. As always, our plans will be focussed on how to best maximise the effectiveness of care and teaching for our pupils, whilst safeguarding the health and well-being of everyone on site. This is a complex situation and I appreciate your patience while our plans develop.

In order to be able to prepare the school site in line with guidance, we will not be open over the half term (25th May – 29th May). Children of key workers will be able to access onsite provision again from 1st June.

Thank you once again for your continued support

Kind regards

Tina Graham

Principal
