Parent Letter of pupils not returning on 1st June

Dear Parent/Carer,

Following the national decision for schools to reopen to some year groups in Primary, we have shared with parents of children in Reception, Year One and Year Six the plan for a gradual and phased reopening.

There is currently no discussion, at a national level, for other year groups in Primary to return to school. We will write to you if this changes. Remote learning will continue to be set for them.

For pupils in Year Ten, we are planning for them to have some face-to-face contact and time in school from 8th June. We will send details about this to parents from 1st June. There is currently no discussion, at a national level, for other year groups in Secondary to have face-to-face contact and time in school. We will write to you if this changes. Remote learning will continue to be set for them.

For children of key workers and vulnerable children who have been attending school during lockdown, this provision will continue. However, from June 1st onwards, school will finish at 12pm on Fridays only and children will need to be collected at this time.

Many thanks for your support and understanding.
