‘Audible’ Reading List

Below are some suggested books that you might like to start with on ‘Audible’, which is offering its audiobooks for free while schools are closed. There is a great selection on Audible, from ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ by Lewis Carroll (for those of you who want a bit of escapism) through to ‘A Little History of the World’ by E. H. Gombrich (for those of you who love your history).

Reading (and listening to books being read) is great not only for your education, but also for your mental health. A reading habit is always important, but even more so when schools are closed and you might be more worried about things than usual. Some people use audiobooks to help them get to sleep, too! You could also read/listen to the book and then watch a film adaptation to see how it compares.
